It's Puppy Love at Artown's 15th Annual Art Paws

THE DOG EVENT THAT MAKES PEOPLE BEG!

Artown's 15th Annual Art Paws is doggedly working to raise money for the animals in our community.  Our two Underdog Grants online as well as our People's Choice Award at Art Paws fetch awareness and support for local animal-aid organizations.  

We are the infamous "bloodhounds of raising money for the animals!" admits executive director of Art Paws, Landess Witmer.  "Honestly, I will sit up and beg, if it means a donation or sponsorship for Art Paws."

And Art Paws is successful; more than 5,000 people and pets convene at this annual canine carnival of fun.  Dogs of every imaginable breed parade through the shaded park at McKinley Arts and Cultural Center at what is now known as Artown's "only bring your dog day."

Every dog has his day--and this is it!

So, you think it is a dog eat dog world?  Imagine the tasty vittles, pet psychic, cool water pet pools, and canine contests at Art Paws...  

Lots to do and lots to sniff is what your dog will say at Art Paws.

But if you are into "hair of the dog" rest assured we have "people-friendly" activities at Art Paws, too.  Our Bow Wow Beer Garden is promising to have more than fifteen sudsy brews to sample, in honor of our 15th Anniversary!  Food Trucks will also be at hand to feed you right.

Unleash your shopping spirit at the Top Dog Silent Auction, with the "I gotta have it now price" or the dog-eat-dog incremental bidding.  Items range from casino stay packages, restaurant outings, dog treats, jewelry, artwork, special event tickets, and much more!

Lastly, for you lucky dogs, we have hourly raffles that amaze!  And every ticket is entered in the grand prize drawing at the end of the day at Art Paws for a platinum diamond bracelet!
