Mardi Paws--RIGHT HERE IN RENO! March 3-8

Pet Adoptions to Meet Our Community's Needs

The SPCA’s adoption goal for 2014 is 1,864 adoptions to coincide with Nevada’s Sesquicentennial, the 150th anniversary of Nevada’s admission to the Union.  Help us reach our goal by adopting a dog or cat from the SPCA during Mardi Paws and give them a forever loving home. The SPCA is located at 4950 Spectrum Blvd. All available animals can be found online at spcanevada.org.
The SPCA relies solely on donations from our community. If you would like to make a one-time, monthly or yearly donation, please visit spcanevada.org or call 775-324-7773 x204. The shelter is always in need of dog and cat food, bleach, hand wipes, paper towels and other necessities.  A full list of items is available online.

Terri Jay, Medium, Intuitive and Pet Psychic at the Atlantis Sun Feb 23

Intuitive Messenger, Local Pet Psychic from Artown's Annual Art Paws to Focus Her Energy on Animals

The Atlantis Hotel Resort Spa presents, "Terri Jay, Medium, Intuitive and Pet Psychic," Sunday, February 23rd at 2pm. Join Terri for an afternoon of readings on both people and pets who have passed and get help with relationships, finances, health, pets, horses and anything else that comes up. Terri has been doing readings by phone all over the world for the last 24 years. Her work has earned her the praise of several veterinarians who were amazed at the details that she receives that can aid in the healing process of the animals.

In 1990, Terri "heard" a non-verbal disabled child in her horseback  therapy program. Once she had it confirmed, it was suggested that she  learn to communicate with the horses since that would make her program  really safe. One thing has led to another and now she knows that there  are no limits to the types of information that she can receive.

"I know my work is based in physics," Jay said . "Everything is  energy and everything has a vibration and frequency. All I do is pick up  on vibrations and frequencies that other people miss--I feel like a big cell phone tower." Jay continued by sharing,

"All of us are born with 10 senses--five physical and five spiritual. We just shut off the spiritual  senses in childhood. I believe that anyone can learn to do this work by just following simple steps to turn these abilities back on."

Tickets are available at http://terrijay.com/atlantis_event.htm or at the Atlantis Gift Shop. Dinner and show packages are also available through the Atlantis. General admission tickets are $30. and General Admission with a reading tickets are $50. Entertainment tax is included in the ticket prices. A limited number of "readings tickets" are available.
