 Pet Adoptions to Meet Our Community's Needs

(Reno, NV) – The SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA) is celebrating Mardi Gras with a Mardi Paws promotion March 3 through March 8. The two Mardi Gras promotions are “Fat Cat Tuesday” and “King Canine.”   The community can adopt all cats 10 pounds or larger for half off the adoption fee for “Fat Cat Tuesday,” and all dogs 70 pounds or larger for half off their adoption fee for “King Canine.”  Both promotions will run March 3 through March 8.

The SPCA’s adoption goal for 2014 is 1,864 adoptions to coincide with Nevada’s Sesquicentennial, the 150th anniversary of Nevada’s admission to the Union.  Help us reach our goal by adopting a dog or cat from the SPCA during Mardi Paws and give them a forever loving home. The SPCA is located at 4950 Spectrum Blvd. All available animals can be found online at spcanevada.org.

The shelter is always in need of dog and cat food, bleach, hand wipes, paper towels and other necessities.  A full list of items is available online.
