The Nevada Humane Society is now offering a low-cost vaccine clinic for Northern Nevada residents. Appointments are available for dogs and cats and may be made by calling 775-856-2000 ext. 311. Nevada Humane Society is also offering, for a limited time, rabies vaccines at a special discounted price of just $10.Appointments are required for all vaccines; no walk-ins will be accepted. 

Nevada Humane Society (NHS) recently dedicated a portion of their private, on-site clinic to community outreach, and in just two short months the numbers are impressive. Since 2014 began, NHS has:  Provided the members of the community with 1,443 high-quality, low cost spay and neuter services Provided the community with free spay and neuter services, along with vaccinations, for 241 feral cats Administered 2,422 vaccinations for pets  That's why NHS is extending their high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services for cats and dogs indefinitely. Through March, NHS is offering an even greater discount on services, where, by appointment only, Northern Nevada residents can bring their cat into the clinic for a spay or neuter surgery for just $25. Appointments may be made by calling 775-856-2000 ext. 333. The NHS clinic is privately funded at no expense to tax payers. The organization is its own entity, receiving no funding from other agencies, including Washoe County Regional Animal Services and the Humane Society of the United States. Nevada Humane Society is open for pet adoptions seven days a week, from 11:00am to 6:30pm and an hour earlier at 10:00am on Saturdays at 2825 Longley Lane, Reno. All pets prior to adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
