The Nevada Humane Society is now offering a low-cost vaccine clinic for Northern Nevada residents. Appointments are available for dogs and cats and may be made by calling 775-856-2000 ext. 311. Nevada Humane Society is also offering, for a limited time, rabies vaccines at a special discounted price of just $10.Appointments are required for all vaccines; no walk-ins will be accepted.

The NHS clinic is privately funded at no expense to tax payers. The organization is its own entity, receiving no funding from other agencies, including Washoe County Regional Animal Services and the Humane Society of the United States. In order to sustain their lifesaving work, NHS is dependent upon the ongoing support of generous individuals and businesses within the local community.

Nevada Humane Society is open for pet adoptions seven days a week, from 11:00am to 6:30pm and an hour earlier at 10:00am on Saturdays at 2825 Longley Lane, Reno. All pets prior to adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
